Bergman Is Staged at the BDT


The Tovstonogov Bolshoi Drama Theatre has premiered a production, based on the film From the Life of the Marionettes, written and directed by Ingmar Bergman, adapted by Polish stage director Andzhey Buben. In one of the most brutal Bergman’s movies, a murder investigation is conducted in a form of a study of the murderer’s medical record, revealing his phobias and complexes. Dmitry Vorobyev, a winner of several theatre awards, stars in the play. This role is his debut on the BDT’s stage. Back
