“Continuation of Don Juan” at Malaya Bronnaya Theatre
The performance based on the eponymous play of Edvard Radzinsky and the author gave it to Anatoly Efros. The director began to rehearse the play with Oleg Dal, but the actor left him. Then Efros invited Andrei Mironov to play the leading part. After several months of rehearsals at the director’s home both of them were very pleased with the cooperation. The part of Don Juan’s servant Leporello was given to Lev Durov, who was wonderful in it. One of spectators described Durov in this part as “funny, charming, unpredictable...”
