The 35th ITI World Congress will be held in Segovia in July of 2017. The theme of the Congress is “Act! Performing Arts Transforming the World”. The Congress Prologue, during which a small student festival will be taking place, will be held July 14 through 16. This time the Congress is especially interested in seeing young participants and is calling on every delegation to bring with them at least one young person under the age of 35. At the heart of the Congress activities is the Fifth Dance Symposium, co-organized by the ITI Dance Committee and the Spanish Center of ITI.
On September 10, the State Kremlin Palace hosted the only ballet show with opera elements “The Crystal Palace”. It was shown on the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the Russian Federation and Malta.
A target of the new course is to educate a person of theatre in a broad sense - a specialist who would be well-informed about theatre history, contemporary art, and a process of mounting theatre production.

Arlecchino’s visit to Moscow was short and business-oriented. Students of Theatre School of Konstantin Raikin saw the production of “Arlecchino and His Double” and the very next day they were all hard at work at the Arlecchino workshop.
International Theatre Institute decided to create the new Yuri Lyubimov International Theatre Award. The first award will be given to an outstanding theatre personality next year at the end of September here in Moscow.
